Jack3d vs. C4
Jack3d vs. C4: which is the best pre-workout supplement?
Jack3d has been sitting on the number one spot in the pre-workout supplement leader board since it came out on the market. But when Cellucor introduced C4 Extreme early this year, it quickly became a hot topic in gym conversations. Has Jack3d finally found a worthy opponent?
Jack3d vs. C4: ingredients
C4 is basically a Jack3d clone in terms of ingredients – both contain AAKG, beta alanine, creatine, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine HCl, and caffeine.
Outside of those compounds, Jack3d only has schizadra while the C4 supplement label lists a variety of other things such as calcium, sugar, vitamin C, vitamin B12, Xanthinol nicotinate, folate, N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, Mucuna pruriens, Rauwolscine, and Pyridoxine Phosphate.
Additives are similar too, with both Jack3d and C4 containing citric acid, acesulfame potassium, sucralose and silicon dioxide. C4, however, uses artificial flavoring and coloring.
While Jack3d is dosed with 4145mg of its “proprietary formula”, C4 has a more clear-cut profile so you know exactly how much of these ingredients you are getting in each serving.
Jack3d vs. C4: creatine content
Jack3d uses creatine monohydrate, which has been proven to contain more creatine per weight of material than any other source.
C4, on the other hand, uses a newer creatine version – creatine nitrate. A powerful blend of creatine and nitric oxide, creatine nitrate is said to be 1000 times more water soluble than creatine monohydrate or other creatine derivatives so you don’t experience any bloating or stomach issues.
Jack3d vs. C4: price
A 30-serving canister of C4 costs around $25, while the 60-serving variety is priced at $40. You can get Jack3d for roughly $22 for 45 scoops.
Using this comparison, C4 is valued at $0.66 to $0.83 per scoop while Jack3d costs $0.49 per serving.
Jack3d vs. C4: results
There have been mixed reviews from users on which is better between Jack3d vs. C4 Extreme.
Obviously, different products work for different people. But the general feedback is that C4 does not produce the same insane pumps and euphoria that you usually get from Jack3d. You most likely will need to add some Yok3d to achieve the pump you want.
Another common complain from C4 users is that the itch and tingling sensation you get is extremely uncomfortable and way worse than Jack3d because of the whopping 1500mg of beta alanine. Of course, for hardcore athletes and bodybuilders who don’t mind the prickly feeling, this is a big plus!
C4 users experience a massive boost of energy, great focus and good tunnel vision but the intensity is simply not the same as that of Jack3d. The effects also seem to wear off after the first two to four weeks of using C4.
In the final analysis of Jack3d vs. C4, it is clear that the advantage still belongs to Jack3d – long lasting great energy and pumps that come at a cheaper price.
